Important changes to school bus timetables and routes for 2019

School will soon be returning for 2019, and for many students and parents there will be some changes to school bus routes and timetables.

A summary of the changes, including a list of schools that will have changed routes or timetables, is available online: www.transport.tas.gov.au/passenger/school_bus_service_timetables_and_information

This website lists all the changes by school and features interactive maps of revised school bus routes, timetables for affected services, and contact details for bus operators.

For information, Catholic schools that have been affected by the changes are listed below:

  • Marist Regional College, Burnie
  • Our Lady of Mercy School, Devonport
  • St Aloysius Catholic College, Huntingfield (Grade 5-10 Campus)
  • St Anthony's Catholic School, Riverside
  • St Finn Barr's Catholic School, St Leonards
  • St John's Catholic School, Richmond

There may also be students who will be affected by changes to general access (public) bus services in the South of the State only, so more information about these changes and links through to updated timetables is also available online: www.transport.tas.gov.au/project2018/route_information/southern_region_service_changes

If you would like more information on the new routes and timetables, you can contact either the operator, or the Department of State Growth.
